AND.. no back stabbing.. or “SILO’ed” groups or projects that you get trapped or stuck.. it’s all very transparent.. with an emphasis on TEAM.. and the environment is Fluid.. which means that you can move from project to project.. or around within the company from group to group and learn as much technology as your brain can absorb.. forget maintenance.. that’s for companies that use technology because they have to.. and are to budget conscious that everything has to get approvals.. blah, blah, blah.. BORING.. and guess what that does to your career.. gives you cement booties!! Technology drives this business.. and there is no such thing as “old” technology.. because if they’re seconds slower than the competition, guess what.. that means they are losing money.. so they are constantly evaluating new technology.. and incorporating that into their systems. This is technology that blows past NASA.. and forget the people with “Me Me” attitudes.. because there aren’t any.. this company is rock solid.. well established.. and growing at a steady pace.
Here is what I need:
1. Developers with C# application development.. Solid Multithreaded Experience.. this is NOT web development.. not even close..
2. Developers with C++, STL, Posix Threads, and hopefully SQL, PERL, and Shell
3. C++/Windows Developers that understand real time development
4. Expert SQL language, NOT Sql Server.. with PERL.. and Shell
Yea, yea, yea.. I get a lot of emails asking what type of development this is.. asking for job descriptions.. or what the environment is like.. it’s very simple.. it’s technology that you can’t imagine.. and I have 8 job openings.. all due to growth.. ZERO turnover.. ZERO! This isn’t project management.. it’s not architecture.. it’s Solid Development that involves architecture/design.. right through implementation. Oh.. and guess what? NO SCREAMING.. no tantrums.. no punching walls.. no thumping desks.. and for everyone that thinks this is “To Good To Be True”.. you’re going to owe me an apology. Everyone thinks they know trading companies.. and thinks they are all the same.. WRONG! This is for an UNBELIEVABLE trading company in Chicago!
