Description:As an Informatica PowerCenter Developer, you will design ETL solutions. You must have strong data analysis skills and hands-on experience with Extract-Transform-Load and Data Warehousing technologies.

Duties/Responsibilities

* Design ETL application
* Develop and communicate best practices among team members
* Adhere to standards, procedures for all aspects of the project
* Work with QA to develop testing procedures to ensure data quality

Compensation and Employment Terms

* Fulltime permanent (salaried)
* W-2 hourly
* Duration: 6+ months
Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines
* Strong knowledge of Informatica Power Center; Informatica v8 strongly preferred. Understand reusability, parameterization, and workflow design
* 3+ years of experience developing ETL processes using Informatica; ETL control tables, error logging and auditing, and data quality
* Experience in creating transformations and mappings using Informatica Powercenter and processing tasks using Workflow Manager to move data from multiple sources into targets
* Strong experience administrating the Informatica environment; managing services, repository maintenance, deployments, user administration, and versioning
* Experience with Teradata BTEQ
* Experience with agile, spiral or other iterative development methodologies
