| Contact | : | careers@ritatech.com | | Description | : | This is a full-time position for a core Oracle DBA with a growing company. Local (Orlando) area candidates are strongly preferred. Out of state candidates will be considered however, there is no relocation assistance available for this position.
Implement and manage new Oracle installations. You will also assume Administration responsibilities for existing Oracle installations as well as DBA support. Installs, configures, maintains database application software. Designs, implements, and tunes database schemas. Conducts regular performance testing and tuning. Debug complex SQL problems. Manages storage space and memory, supports Capacity planning. Optimizes database partitions. Creates and optimizes physical tables and partitions. Implements dimensional models, including aggregation and indexing strategies. Manages user accounts and access privileges. Implements Vendor Software patches. Coordinates with Data and Development Teams to ensure established Standards are followed, works closely with the Database Architect.
REQUIRES:
BS Degree with at least 5 years of Oracle DBA experience.
Requires Oracle 10g/9i/8i DBA experience.
Logical & physical database design.
Performance tuning, capacity planning, backup/recovery, etc.
Basic knowledge of server and database administrative tasks and technologies. Experience with applications that interface between various technologies.
Solid verbal communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle 11g, and data warehousing is preferred.
