Software Support Technician - Toronto:
SkillsMeridian Inc is an elite recruitment partner for many top Canadian companies. We are looking for a Software Support Technician in a full time position for a fast growing company, headquartered in Scarborough, ON with operations across North America specializes in the design, manufacturing and marketing of integrated transaction control solutions for the College/ University, Public Library, Government and Corporate marketplaces.
This fast paced organization provides complete end to end solutions including hardware and a suite of software solutions for electronic based transactions from its headquarters in Scarborough. We offer a wide range of support services to our clients throughout North America. We are seeking dynamic individuals that will embrace our technologies and are committed to providing exceptional support while advancing their career opportunities.
Primary responsibilities include:
• System configuration and implementation
• Customer support ( Telephone)
• End to End QA
• Networking Support
• Some Travel in North America Required
Skills and Experience:
• 3 to 5 years experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Clear understanding and experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle and MS Access
• Sound background in networking technology
• Windows 2000/2003/2008 Servers and Active Directories
• Computer hardware and maintenance.
• Customer service experience
• Valid G class drivers license
Additional Skills:
• Computer programming skills
• POS systems
• Microsoft SharePoint Services
Education:
• Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Programming Diploma or equivalent education
