Description:•Lead a team engineers in a fast pace and exciting career as a Team Leader overseeing the design of substation power distribution!
•Technical Competencies: UPS, Power Distribution, Electrical Engineering, Relay Settings, Circuit Breaker Application, Fault Studies, Load Flows, Transformers Application, Feeders, Harmonic Filters, 115KV Substations.
•Sector Business Development: Assist the market leader in achieving financial sustainability, growth, sound business practices, create / implement business development plan, organizing client appreciation events and marketing efforts, interface with clients and other company offices.
•Coordinate, prepare and respond to RFP's assigned by the market leader.
•Manage teams: Interviewing and developing team members, new employee orientation, scheduling, keeping team members productive, conduct team meetings, assign work, provide technical guidance, interfacing with other teams, defining project priorities for engineering and drafting resources, implementing quality control, defining computer software programs and hardware upgrade needs, staffing and technical capability development, balance and mix engineering and design tasks, Approve time sheets, Recommend professional and technical training needs,
•Supervisor of team members: except disciplinary measures and termination.
•Annual performance reviews of team members (market leader present during review).
•Project Management: Create of project plans and specifications, ensure project/team complies with technical / project / budgetary and time constraints, Review and approve project invoices, planning and design for team members.
•Leadership: Member of professional & association networking groups, membership in at least one community service organization, technical writing/publishing within professional trade documents, design awards, innovation, increasing corporate market visibility, participate in public speaking events.
•Quality: Meeting and/or exceeding project requirements, client expectations, professional standards, ensure industry design and safety codes, maintain client / company design and quality standards
•The team leader is responsible to work with the market leader to ensure that the business of our professional practice is led and managed to the highest standards. The team leader is accountable to the market leader for project management, quality control, assistance in business and team development, assistance in technical capability development and resource utilization.
•Effective verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
•Candidate must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
•Bachelors Degree is required.
•Requires limited travel.
•Requires a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
•Ability to lift 30 lbs or more.
•Relocation Cost can be provided.
•salary Range: $80-$100K
