| Contact | : | | | Description | : | As an agile SDET, you would be responsible for middle-tier test strategies, risk assessment, planning, design and execution of mainly automated and some manual test cases. Our test professionals are peers to our developers. Working closely with product management and development, you will drive to completion the feature set being tested and the critical elements to determine application stability and functionality. The position will deliver test design plans and reviews in support of quality metrics and critical deliverables, including automation framework and tests. The ideal candidate will have a track record of designing and implementing test automation (C# preferred but Java/Perl OK), ad hoc testing skills, successfully completing complex assignments, superior technical skills, and the ability and commitment to deliver as deadlines approach.
Responsibilities:
* Create and organize test designs, test cases, and matrixes for full area coverage and product delivery
* Design, implement and run API automated tests and framework at the unit and system levels very early in the development phase and provide tight feedback on feature design and functionality to development
* Communicate test requirements to Product Management and Development by reviewing project requirements and user stories for testability
Experience Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years + in a testing or quality assurance position
* 3 years + hands on experience with SQL Server, Win2000 and WindowsXP
* Experience in Agile and/or XP development practices
* A strong background in test plan/test case development
* Good working knowledge of enterprise data driven web applications (.Net or Java)
* Proficiency in software test development including automated tools and scripting tests (C#, Java or other scripting language)
* A clear understanding of the software product cycle
* Ad hoc testing skills
