Due to phenomenal growth and demand for products and services, our client has an immediate need for an experienced Microsoft Business Intelligence Architect to join a team of talented and energetic technology professionals who are dedicated to delivering enterprise-level data management services. The qualified candidate will contribute to our client’s success by providing technical leadership and expertise in the design and deployment of business intelligence solutions. The position is located in Dallas or Houston, Texas or Tulsa, OK.
As a Microsoft Business Intelligence Architect, you will:
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, deployment and support of all components of the business intelligence tool suite
• Determine and design standard/required business intelligence components and infrastructure to meet technical standards and user/performance requirements (Report Builder, Reporting Services, load balancing, security, capacity planning, etc.)
• Participate in customer-facing activities and present materials to customer and industry audiences
• Develop best practices for the design, development and deployment of business intelligence tool suite
• Mentor junior developers in business intelligence perspective and tools.
Requirements and skills needed:
• Degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline
• 7 - 10+ years experience with focus on Business Intelligence solution implementation
• Expertise in selection, design and development of multiple Analysis Server front tools, SharePoint integration with BI tools and other Web applications
• Excellent project management, presentation and communication skills
• Flexibility to travel 25-50% preferred
