Maintain and manage production databases (8i/10g)
Support DEV and QA teams in their day-to-day activities.
Develop scripts for automating database monitoring and administration.
Implementing process and documenting the key activities performed.
Manage backup and recovery

Good shell scripting skills.
Good knowledge on Unix.
In-depth knowledge in Oracle 8i/9i/10g.
Good Hands on experience in production support.
Good knowledge in PL/SQL.
Excellent backup/recovery skills using RMAN.
Technical Skills – Desirable
Working knowledge on MYSQL database is a plus
Working knowledge on SQLServer database is a plus
Non-Technical Skills
Excellent analytic ability, strong communication skills.
