Description:Our direct consumer products client in Somerset County has an immediate fulltime opening for a developer with Oracle PL/SQL, .NET Framework, C# and VB6, experience. This position provides a competitive salary and extensive benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis and resolution of systems issues as identified by business partners. Systems are client server based-they are a combination of Gerber PDM software and an in-house developed Sourcing Integration system. The systems process data and images. Design, develop, test and implement application changes using VB6, SQL, and Oracle components including Stored Procedures/Views/ etc. Provide support of end-users, especially in the product administration and product design/technical design departments. Document changes including functional/technical specifications and test plans when required. Some occasional travel to our client's New York City offices.
Experience:5+ years applications development and support experience, including 3+ years using Oracle (i.e. stored procedures, PL-SQL, triggers, advanced queries) VB6, .NET Framework, C# and VB6. Experience developing functional and technical specifications, test plans and test cases in support of unit and system testing. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical skills. Ability to handle shifting priorities and work towards agreed upon goals and target dates. Bachelors Degree is required.
