These Software Quality Assurance Analyst**s are responsible for the continued testing, support and certification of our configured PeopleSoft HR/Canadian Payroll solution and custom developed code. Individual must have PeopleSoft Canadian Payroll, Payroll/HRMS/Financial package testing experience with a strong functional background. They need to be able to functionally navigate in PeopleSoft and understand the business process behind their functional area of expertise.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in building an automated testing strategy
Reviewing requirement documents, use cases, design specifications, project plans and Technical documentation in order to prepare test plans
Develop test case scenarios (manual and automated)
Execute testing
Document the results of testing
Prepare test summary reports certifying the application for production use.
Must follow documented quality assurance procedures to ensure that all projects submitted for review meet company standards and end user requirements.
Required skills include:
Technical problem solving
Analytical, interpersonal, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with preparing test plan and test cases are needed to be successful.
Previous experience testing PeopleSoft's Canadian Payroll, HRMS, or Financial packages is required.
Ability to plan, estimate and prioritize tasks for multiple complex projects and adjust in a dynamic environment.
Candidate must have the ability to understand how multiple applications relate to one another and the impact on the test approach.
Proven ability to analyze and recommend solution to complex business and technical situations.
Desired skills:
Experience with Mercury Quality Center (Test Director, Business Process Testing, QuickTest Pro and Loadrunner)
VB Scripting, VuGen, PeopleTools, SQL and Linux skills are helpful.
