Document processes and procedures for new and existing systems. Train and develop IS team members and customers on related systems. Troubleshoot problems and resolve them to the satisfaction of customers both external and internal.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Implementation of system interoperability, data exchange, and process integration/workflow solutions using middleware and business process automation tools.
Provide complete solutions spanning multiple technology areas, including network, application, database, middleware and security.
Produce or oversee the production of technical requirements, architecture and design deliverables, development and implementation of complete integration solutions.
Work with and/or lead test and quality assurance staff during the development and implementation of integrated solutions.
Work as needed to support projects through problem solving, and by identifying/evolving standards, best practices and reusable solutions.
Effectively communicate and define technology considerations within the context of business requirements.
Understand the balance between business requirements and technical solutions.
Be able to explain technology to a business audience.
Be able to negotiate technical solutions against business requirements.
Actively be involved in and be responsible when needed for the collection, refinement, communication and maintenance of business requirements.

| Experience | : | PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Should have a breadth of technical experience including: Messaging Middleware, Service Oriented Architectures, Web Services, XML, Java, and Microsoft. Fluency in Object-Oriented technology and the Java language. Strong knowledge of J2EE technologies including EJBs, Servlets, JSP, JavaBeans, JDBC, JNDI, XML, HTML, and JavaScript. Significant hands-on experience developing Web based applications in a Portal Framework, OracleAS 10g Portal experience is a plus Significant hands-on experience installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting Java Application Servers in a Unix Environment. LDAP and Single Sign-On (SSO) experience required, Oracle OID/SSO is a plus Understanding of and experience with full software development lifecycle including functional & technical specification, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployments Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to mentor others. Strong teamwork and proven problem solving ability Architected integration solutions to achieve goals of performance, scalability, interoperability, portability, reuse, and security. Achieved results under constraints of time, budget, available expertise, existing applications and infrastructure. Oracle Application Server 10g experience is a plus Web Services, SOAP / XML experience is a plus Wireless and J2ME development experience is a plus
