As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will be extensively involved in the back-end testing of distribution platform systems for The Walt Disney Internet Group. These systems include web page caching and application server technologies that are the backbone of serving top 25 web traffic sites. Areas of responsibility include managing and improving our suite of automated tests for back-end services and tools, writing test plans and test cases for tools and services and performance testing.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager for the Distribution Platforms group, you will contribute to the QA process and tools selection for a variety of QA related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
• Experience writing automated tests in Java
• Writing test plans and test cases
• Strong technical background for white box testing
• Experience with Load Testing tools and practices
• Proven experience in identifying the relationship of bugs to software codes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in field.
• 5 years of QA experience.
