The System Architect will be responsible for working on various supported systems. Responsibilities include:
• Reviewing prior implementations / architectures and reworking as necessary
• Architecting new development efforts based on business drivers and demands
• Advancing various platforms (ecommerce, customer management, self service, warehouse systems, etc.)
• Recommending new software development technologies / COTS products where applicable.
• Creating appropriate documentation for the systems that are being supported.

| Experience | : | Required Skills:
• 8+ years experience in object oriented software development experience with Microsoft technologies including .Net (VB.Net or C#)
• 5+ years experience with SQL Server 2000 and/or 2005
• Experience writing technical design documents including design specifications, use case diagrams, process flows and other supporting items as necessary.
• Extensive knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Visual SourceSafe.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer Science Degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
